Happy day! “Drive” is finally here! You can purchase a digital copy (as sweet, hi-res files) on our band camp page HERE, or if you would like a physical copy, just send us an email and we’ll send one to ya faster than you can say “Love Your Mother”!
And if you’d like to stream the album for free, you can do that as well on our band camp page, or just scroll down a little ways and do it right here on good ol lindbymusic.com!
We can’t thank everyone enough for all of your love and support! We love you all, and hope you enjoy the album!
Well dear readers, it has been quite a busy summer to say the least! We have been relatively quiet on the ol’ interwebs because…wait for it…
WE FINALLY FINISHED OUR SECOND, FULL-LENGTH ALBUM! TA-DA! TA-DA FOREVER!
That’s right! It’s all recorded, mixed, and mastered, and is being duplicated as we speak (or I type/you read)!
We will be releasing the album, “Drive,” at our album release party at Shaw’s Patio Bar & Grill in Fort Worth, along with some special merch, and the usual fare of stickers and tshirts.
Also, the first 25 people to buy an album GET A FREE T-SHIRT! Woohoo!
The show starts at 7:30pm with our pals in Supermoon rocking and rolling, then Lindby hits the stage after that at 8:30pm. We’ll be playing through the new album, plus a plethora of other tunes as well! Here is the FACEBOOK EVENT if you’d like to scope out more details.
We also be releasing the album digitally on our BANDCAMP PAGE as well for the same price ($10)
It has been a little over two years since we first began recording it, and one live album, and EP full of covers, and two Christmas EP’s later, it’s finally, FINALLY finished. And, as is the case with many pieces of artistry, we hope that it will collapse into a mirror, in which you can see your own soul…ROCKING! Stay tuned for more updates (we promise!) and we hope to see you at the release show!
And we’re back! After a long hiatus due to studio recordings and other things (people moving around DFW, recording the album, new jobs, recording the album, etc.), Lindby is back, and in a big way!
w00t and w00t!
You can give us, and maaaaaaany other Fort Worth artists a vote here if you’re feeling particularly political, or just want to express your love for the Fort Worth music scene in a more cumulative, ballot-oriented sense. I know most of you were voting for the FW Weekly Music Awards before it was cool, so do you civic duty and show your love for this country by voting MUSIC in 2015 (and Lindby, if you’d like)!
And about that album…it’ll be done by the end of the summer just in time for the fall! Stay tuned!
Hey everyone! We’ve released “Gingerbread Rock,” our 3rd Christmas EP, for a free listen AND download! It features Leon Bridges, Doug Funnie, Zach Mayo, and the wubs and dubs of Tanner Brown (tanner4105), so check it out and getcha some holiday spirit!
We spent a day at Green Audio with Ben Napier and Zach Tucker laying down some tunes live in the studio for you to enjoy! They range from video game tunes to jazz and more. They are all FREE to download, so give them a listen and share them with your friends and family. Scroll down to give it a listen. Happy Autumn, everybody!
HERE is where you can go to download the tunes individually, or as a whole album. Again, happy autumn and get ready for more holiday cheer really soon!
Fall is finally here! To celebrate, we are playing two shows at UTA on October 1st and 17th, AND two fabulous festivals on October 11th in both Dallas and Fort Worth!
The first is Party Madness 64 at The Door in Dallas. We will be playing in the afternoon (more details on ALL the bands’ set times will be forthcoming shortly). Check out the FACEBOOK EVENT for more details, and to keep up with announcements. There’s going to be a Mario Kart 64 Tournament AND a cosplay contest! w00t! pwn them n00bs!
The second is the Fall Arts Goggle in Fort Worth! We’re going to be playing over at the Park Place Village at 9pm, but there is going to be a PLETHORA of artists displaying their work (be it physical or musical) all day, so be sure check out as much as you can! We absolutely LOVE playing at the Arts Goggle and can’t wait to do it again. We always meet awesome people, make new friends, and see some ridiculously good art (again, musical and physical) to boot! Yeehaw!
So there you go! We’ve got a busy October planned, and so much still to do before the year is up! Again, Happy Autumn to you all and stay tuned, because we’re going to be releasing some music next week for everyone to enjoy as well!
What? It’s June already? That can’t be right.
WELL IT IS!
And with summertime comes music festivals!
We are going to be playing at Clearfork Music Festival again, and we are STOKED! We had a fantastic time last year and made a bunch of new friends, and this year it’s going to be even better. The Festival has moved down the river to the Panther Island Pavilion, and will be taking place on August 30th, so mark those calendars! Not to mention, The Black Angels are headlining! w00000t! Check out the poster for the current music lineup for the festival (with more to be announced soon):
Be sure to follow Clearfork Music Festival on FACEBOOK to keep up with the latest news and announcements regarding the festival, join the FACEBOOK EVENT, and check out their WEBSITE as well. We’ll post details as soon as we get them, but in the meantime grab ya some tickets and we’ll see you guys on August 30th!
We are beyond excited to report that Lindby has been nominated for “Best Pop Act” by the Fort Worth Weekly!
In addition to that, our very own Nick Spurrier and Ali Grant (now Ali Claset FTW CONGRATS AGAIN, ALI!) were also nominated for their performances on our rendition of “Pure Imagination!”
Lindby is on the ballot under the “Pop” category, Spurrier is under the “Other Performance” category, and Ali is under the “Female Vocalist Performance.” Here is the link to the ballot:
Here are Ali & Spurrier performing on “Pure Imagination” as well:
We are extremely honored to be nominated alongside such amazing, talented artists in the Fort Worth music scene, and are truly thankful for fans like you who continue to drive us in making music for the world! We love you and could never do it without you!
This past Saturday, April 26 2014, a new chapter was writting in the tome of Lindby.
A new album? Epic show? Fresh merch?
Not even close. Last Saturday, ALI & KYLE GOT MARRIED! W000000T! Congratulations to the both of you! We love you both so much and are beyond pumped and honored to enter this journey with you. Below are a few photos from the weekend. Congrats again, you guys!
Well February has come and gone, and things in the studio are coming along swimmingly. Expect to see more updates as we chug along in there, and be sure to follow us on twitter (@lindbymusic) for updates AS THEY HAPPEN. What a world! But yes, we’re looking to have to finished product done by Fall 2014, so yeehaw!
Anyways, Now that it’s March (and Ali and Kyle have nailed down more wedding details), it’s back to the stage we go! You can check out the SHOWS page for more info, but we wanted to let everyone know about two shows in particular (which also happen to be the next two shows we’re playing).
First off is the Hand-Drawn Records unofficial showcase at SXSW! It’s going to be a The Brasshouse in Austin, and is going to be a KILLER showcase, with plenty of bands from the DDFW and more. We’ll be on the Brass Stage at 3pm on March 15th, but stick around for all of the incredible music before and after us! If you’re in Austin, swing by and say hi!
Next is a showcase that was rescheduled due to Mother Nature’s blue-screen-of-death moment we had this past Sunday. Lindby, Droidekka, and possibly one other soon-to-be-announced band will be playing the Green Audio Showcase at The Grotto on March 23rd. It’s $5 to get in, and 100% of that goes towards funding Ben Napier’s own Green Audio Productions in Fort Worth. Kick it with some local music and support the scene in more ways than one!
There ya have it! A busy March, and we’ve got an even busier April on the way (ALI AND KYLE ARE GETTING MARRIED FTW OMG OFC PWNAGE), so stay tuned and love your mother!
Oh, and if you were too lazy to go through all that, here are the Facebook events for each of those shows:
